DUE TO THE RISE IN COVID CASES IN THE SPRINGVILLE AREA THE LIBRARY HAS CLOSED DOORS TO THE PUBLIC

Curbside check-out is encouraged. Just call the Library 854-6444 or E-Mail: sprlibry@netins.net

Staff will be in the Library Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 12:00-5:00 for curbside pick-up..

Computer use will be by appointment only limit 4.

WINTER FESTIVAL

Due to Covid the 2020 Winter Festival will be scaled down.

Date: Saturday, December 5th
Soup Supper - 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Parade Line Up at High School - 6 p.m.
Light Parade - 6:30 p.m. - normal parade route
Christmas Tree Lighting in Butler Park - 7 p.m.
Santa at Gazebo - until 8:30 p.m. - cookies & hot cocoa available

RECYCLING RATE INCREASE

Wapsi Waste Management has been hauling solid waste for the City of Springville since 2018.

Due to increased recycling costs, it is necessary to raise the cost of hauling $3.50 per month.

This increase will be reflected on the December 2020 utility bill.

REPLANTING TREES

NOTICE:

The City has asked that no-one replant any trees in the City Right of Way until further notice.

Any trees planted in the City Right of Way will be removed at the cost of the property owner.
