PUBLIC HEARING

FOR THE CITY OF SPRINGVILLE

CITY COUNCIL

The City Council of Springville, Iowa will hold a public hearing for the purpose of receiving input and suggestions from the general public concerning the update of the City’s Zoning Ordinance. The purpose of said ordinance is to amend M-2, Heavy Industrial by an addition to the Special Exceptions section to include mining/quarry activities. Said  Zoning Ordinance is intended to provide reasonable rules and regulations for the development of the City to protect the health, safety and welfare of the general public. The Public Hearing will be held at City Hall on August 3, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
