Springville operates under a Mayor/Council form of government, with five elected Council members and an elected Mayor all of whom serve a four year term. A Municipal election occurs every two years, with council positions filled in a staggered method.

Mayor: Roger Shebetka

Special Election for Vacant Seat will be Held January 6, 2014

If you are interested in running for this City Council seat vacancy please pick up an election packet at the Springville City Hall or the Linn County Auditor's Office. It will also be available soon on the Linn County Auditor's Special Election web page. Candidates must file candidacy papers to the Linn County Auditor's office by 5 pm on December 12, 2014.
