Boards & Commissions
The City of Springville has several boards and commission made up of citizens who are appointed either by the Council, or by the Mayor with Council approval. Terms for board appointments vary. These Boards serve an important function by aiding the Council with many decisions, providing a set of checks and balances, and in creating and maintaining select services for the community.
All Board and Commission meetings are subject to Iowa Open Meetings/Records laws, and are open to the public. Current Springville Boards and Commissions include:
Planning & Zoning - Board Of Adjustment - Library - Parks
