ORDINANCE #1 - 2008

 

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SPRINGVILLE, IOWA, 1997, BY AMENDING PROVISIONS PERTAINING TO YARD WASTE DISPOSAL CHARGES.

 

BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of Springville, Iowa:

 

TITLE III- MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH

CHAPTER 4 - SOLID WASTE CONTROL AND RECYCLING

 

Section 1: 3-4.22 is repealed and the following adopted in lieu thereof:

 

FEES AND CHARGES FOR YARD WASTE DISPOSAL.  Regular fees and charges for the maintenance and use of the yard waste disposal site shall be $2.75 per month.  This yard waste fee will be charged to each single family dwelling within the City of Springville.

 

Section 2:  Severability Clause.  If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

 

Section 3:  When Effective.  This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
