The City of Springville will hold a Public Hearing November 21, 2011 at 6:00 pm in the Springville City Hall. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to inform citizens of the City’s intent to submit a Housing Fund application to the Iowa Department of Economic Development for funding of an Owneroccupied
Housing Rehabilitation Program. All citizens are encouraged to attend. Written comments may be directed to Springville City Hall or by calling Karen Bixler at 319.854.6428.

Sewer Project

The City of Springville will be doing an extensive sewer rehabilitation project to fix the over abundant infiltration problem that the city is facing through leaking sewer pipes and illegal connections such as footing tile and sump pumps. This work will be taking place all around town for most of the remaining summer and into the fall. The city will try our best to inform all citizens of the areas of work to happen in any given time period. Hopefully this will make the inconvenience to all a little more tolerable. Your cooperation will be very much appreciated by the maintenance department, the City, and the contractors. Thank you in advance for your help and understanding.
