Senior Dining Program

Horizons has announced it will suspend further senior meal service to Hiawatha Community Center,
Marion Lowe Park, Ely Community Center, St. Marks United Methodist Church and Springville Community Center due to an overall reduction of $200,000 in Horizons’ meal budget for the 2015 fiscal year. The last day of service was April 30th. The council has decided to form a committee to explore the possibility of starting a new meal program in the Community Center. Councilperson Ralston volunteered to be on the committee. If you are interested in being on the committee please contact City Hall. Input is needed to get a new program going.
